Saurabh Patel and Mukesh Ambani Relationship



Saurabh Patel is a high profile BJP leader of Gujarat. He has recently been inducted in the new cabinet of Vijay Rupani, after being benched by Rupani in his last cabinet. 

Saurabh has remained a favorite jack for Modi baiters because of his relationship with Mukesh Ambani.

In fact, Saurabh used to be quite reluctant in disclosing his relationship with Ambani. He had to disclose it only when a sort of political storm and an instruction of the Election Commission.

Well, Saurabh is not directly linked to Mukesh Ambani as has been alleged. He is the son – in – law of Ramnikbhai Ambani. As a matter of fact, Ramnikbhai was the elder brother of Dhirubhai Ambani.

However, it should not be ignored that Ramnikbhai was not having good relationship with Dhiru. He tried to obstruct him and suggested him to not dream big.

Mukesh and Anil Ambani never shared close relationship with any of Ramnikbhai’ family members, including Saurabh. 

Saurabh is a self – made person. He has an MBA degree from USA. He was married in 1989 when he had no inclination to join politics. 

Saurabh has also been a close associate of Narendra Modi. He was made Petroleum and Energy Minister in 2002, a portfolio he continued to hold throughout the reign of Mr. Modi as the CM of Gujarat.

There is also no denying that Saurabh is one of the most educated politicians in Gujarat. No one can match his acumen. It is quite unfortunate that a relationship with Ambani owing to marriage has been used to halt his career.
