Shreshtha Thakur, UP Police: Wiki, Profile, Husband, Boyfriend and Family

The transfer of Shreshtha Thakur is being seen as a big blot on the Yogi Governance of UP. Contrary to tall claims made by Yogi Adityanath, the ill treatment done to the woman officer who had guts to stand in the way of violent BJP supporters is the nadir. A message has been given to police officers to not obstruct when BJP supporters and leaders are doing rampage and unlawful activities. Needless to say, millions of BJP supporters are also in pain with the feeling that Yogi Government is not different from that of previous Akhilesh Yadav government.



In the meantime, Shreshtha Thakur has become a national sensation. She is a brave police officer who despite being transferred seems to be in good mood. She has already replied the ‘punishment’ of Yogi Government through her Facebook post.

Biography of Shreshtha Thakur

Shreshtha Thakur was born in Unnaon in 1983. At this point of time, she is 34 years old. After completing schooling from UP Board, she shifted to Kanpur and took admission in the prestigious Kanpur University. Her family later shifted to Delhi. She started preparation for Civil Services while doing graduation. Unfortunately, she couldn’t crack UPSC Civil Services Examination despite appearing in the personal interview two times. She later concentrated to the State PCS examination, and in the very first attempt cracked UPPCS. Meanwhile, she had also done MBA from the same university.

Shreshtha Thakur has always remained an upright police officer. She was posted in Bulandshahr as Circle Officer by Akhilesh Yadav Government. This was her first posting. Yogi Government till now had not transferred her and there was a mood in the secretariat that she is an officer who can control the burgeoning cases of crimes in Bulandshahr. Unfortunately, the government took the transfer decision because of the above incident.



Shreshtha is now sent to Bahraich. Needless to say, locales of Bahraich are quite happy to see the lady singham coming to their town.

By caste, Shreshtha Thakur is a Rajput.

Shreshtha Thakur is married and her husband lives in New Delhi. There is no information whether she has any children till now or not. Her parents and brothers are also living in New Delhi.
