Rubika Liyaquat: Profile, Husband, Age, Wiki and Salary


Rubika Liyaquat is an Indian journalist working with ABP NEWS as a senior anchor and editor. Previously, she was working with ZEE News where she was accused of helping BJP through newsroom. However, it is a fact that she used to take strong pro BJP stand only when the issue at hand is of nationalist nature. Be it JNU issue or Kashmir problem or Naxal Terrorism, she is seen as supporting the Government in the best possible manner. On social issue, she becomes a sort of socialist and tries her best to show the establishment the problem being faced by Indians in day to day life.



Biography of Rubika Liyaquat

Rubika is from Rajasthan. She was born and brought up in Udaipur from where she completed her schooling from St. Gregorios Senior Secondary School. She was a popular face of this school and has excelled in both study and extracurricular activities.
After completing schooling, she took admission in Mumbai University and completed BBM. During this time, she did a short internship with a local small news channel. She had a desire to make it big in the field of journalism and hence she shifted her base to Delhi as most of Hindi News channels are based in the NCR. 

Rubika joined Live India in 2007. The channel which was led by Sudhir Chaudhury (current Editor in Chief of Zee News) got mired in a controversy in 2008 for broadcasting a fake sex scandal being run in a school. The channel was banned for one year. Rubika also resigned and started looking for better opportunity. At that time, Anuradha Prasad had started NEWS 24. Rubika gave interview and was selected as an anchor. She rose to fame during her stint with NEWS 24. In fact, Rubika and Anjana Om Kashyap (currently, Aaj Tak) were face of this channel at that time. Rubika left NEWS 24 when Zee News offers her better job responsibility. She is also getting fat salary at Zee News.



Husband of Rubika Liyaquat

Rubika is married to Naved Qureshi. It is said that she met Naved while working at NEWS 24. Naved was also a journalist at this channel. Both of them were from the same region of Rajasthan and hence they instantly got hooked. After dating for few months, they decided to get married which happened in 2012.

It should be noted here that both Rubika and Naved are Bohra Muslims.

    I congrats salue and regard Rubika Liyakat as a bold with real natural patriotic speech and decisions irrespective of caste creed and community. Indian media needs such talent for joining a one nation one citizen
