She frankly told that Twitter can’t be a medium to threaten a woman of rape and acid attack. More than 40, 000 people signed the petition on change[dot]org. Chinmayi bluntly told that she is not against freedom of expression, but no one an abuse this fundamental right to issue rape threat to a woman.

Recently, Chinmayi was robbed in the San Francisco. Her car window was smashed and robbers took away all valuables lying inside. She informed her followers about the theft on her Twitter account.
