BGR - 34: Review, Side Effects, Benefits, Dosage and Price

The burgeoning number of diabetic in India has created a sort of medical emergency in the country. Diabetes is not just a disease, but it can also be the root cause of many other serious diseases. Regular maintenance medicines available in the market have their own side effects which, in some cases, become grave in the long run. In this context, the launch of BGR – 34 has created lots of enthusiasm among diabetics. This is a herbal medicines which has been researched and developed by premier research institutes – CSIR – NBRI and CSIR – CIMAP. Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Harsh Vardhan has recently tweeted about this medicine enumerating benefits. He suggested patients to try it. Obviously, the open endorsement by a Union Minister has given credence to BGR – 34. Aimil Pharmaceuticals is manufacturing and marketing this medicine in India as per their understanding with the Government of India.

Review of BGR – 34

BGR stands for Blood Glucose Regulator and 34 indicate the existence of 34 active ingredients. Among these 34, there are six important herbal species extracts which are also mentioned in the ancient Ayurvedic texts.

It has been proven by clinical trials that BGR – 34 increases the active insulin units by converting proinsulin to insulin. Apart from ensuring more insulin, this medicine also makes it possible for the body to utilize insulin in an efficient manner. It also works in healing cardio related problem by inhibiting DDP – 4, which is also known for destroying hormone incretin. As you might know, incretin plays a vital role in maintaining insulin level in the body.

It must be noted here that Metformin, a popular medicine for diabetes, doesn’t have any inhibiting effect on DDP – 4. It can instantly increase the sugar level, but in the long run can’t be effective as BGR – 34 for this very reason.

Clinical trials done by CSIR and various other medical institutes of India have clearly shown that the success rate of BGR – 34 is 65  - 70 %. Well, the success rate is obviously not above 90 %, but still it is worth because of lack of side effects.

How Many Days BGR – 34 Takes to Show Results?

This is a very common question I have seen about BGR – 34. Diabetics who are already taking a regular maintenance medicine are concerned about the time frame. They are obviously going to discontinue their regular allopathic medicines and hence want to know any associated risk factor which can be seen with the timeframe.
Experience available with CSIR shows that it can 30 – 40 days to show positive results. Obviously, you have to manage this time well with proper coordination of daily diets.

Side Effects of BGR – 34

If you are going to take BGR – 34, you need to be little bit cautious for around one month. There may be some side effects for short term. Once your body becomes accustomed with these herbal ingredients, you will start to feel good. Most common side effects of this medicine are allergy and gastrointestinal problems. I must mention here that these side effects don’t happen with all users, but you should still be little bit cautious.

Should You Stop allopathic Medicines?

This is also a very common question. As you are aware now, BR – 34 is a herbal product and hence doesn’t react with allopathic medicines. You can continue to take your daily medicine for diabetes. You should ask your doctor about allopathic medicine only after taking BGR for at least 45 days.
