Neeraj Bawana: Profile, Family, Girlfriends and Wiki

Neeraj Bawana is one of the most dreaded gangsters of Delhi – NCR. His reign of terror also extends to Haryana, parts of Rajasthan and Western UP. He is infamous for being a ruthless criminal who doesn’t show a modicum of mercy while targeting his victims. He was arrested in 2015, but that doesn’t mean any reform in his character. Delhi Police had expected drop in the overall crime in the region after the arrest of him. However, it seems Neeraj is successfully running his extortion racket from jail.


Profile of Neeraj Bawana

Neeraj Bawana (real name Neeraj Sehrawat) was born and brought up in the Bawana village of Outer Delhi. This village is known as the birthplace of the great and visionary Jat leader Late Sahib Singh Verma. However, now the village is known as the birth place of Neeraj, the gangster.

Neeraj started his education from local school in the village. He was never good at study. The money coming from high property rate in the area has already ruined almost all Jat boys of the area. He was obviously no exception. He always aspires to keep the latest electronic gadgets, keep few girlfriends, roam around on his personal car and wear branded clothes. His ancestral property was sufficient for him to have these stuffs. However, he later became addicted to opium and then to finance it he entered the world of crime. His first attempt was a robbery in Bhivani, Haryana. He was caught and jailed in Tihar. That was a sort of luck in disguise form for him as in the jail he found Fazal – ur – Rahman in the same cell. Rahman and Neeraj became good friends. Rahman was a man of Dawood Ibrahim in Delhi and was running extortion racket from Tihar. He told Neeraj everything and, in fact, inspired him to become Dawood Ibrahim of Delhi. 

Once out of Jail, Neeraj started the path shown by Rahman. First he was required to kill some businessmen who refused to give him money.  Some murders led to fear and rich of Delhi started to give him extortion money as soon as there was a call from Neeraj.

In 2013, Neetu Dabodia, the then most notorious don of Delhi NCR, was killed by Delhi Police in an encounter. Neeraj learnt a lesson from that encounter. He decided to not make any direct fight with the police. He decided to rather control police with political links. Being a Jat, it was not tough for him to keep other jat leaders of Delhi in his good books. Few months later in December, 2013, his uncle Rambeer Shokeen won election on independent ticket. It was Neeraj who ensured the victory of Rambeer despite AAP wave in Delhi. He gave Rambeer both muscle and money power. At this point of time, Neeraj became the biggest don of Delhi – Haryana. 

In another attempt, Neeraj made a plan to make Rambeer the CM of Delhi. He had in fact contacted and took consent of 6 Congress MLAs. He was hopeful of the support of BJP. However, BJP decided to not form a government and went for election in which AAP won 67 seats. One wonders what would have happened had Rambeer Shokeen became the CM of Delhi.

Neeraj Bawana is known among his fraternity for keeping lots of girlfriends. He is a very smart criminal. Delhi Police official says that he keeps on learning from mistakes made by other criminals. He knew girlfriends can be problematic at the later stage. that’s why he maintain a distance and never gets emotionally attached with any of them. For him, making sexual relationship is all about keeping girlfriends. Now being in jail, he may not make any sexual relationship.
