Indraja is an Indian film and television actress. She is a renowned face in the South Indian film industries and has worked in various South Indian regional languages movies, like Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. She has a huge fan following throughout South India, even though she has become sort of dormant since 2005 as far as acting is concerned.

Indraja was born on 17^th October, 1977 in Chennai in a Telugu family. Her real name is Rajathi. She used the name Indraja for acting, which has, in fact, become her real identity. She has won many awards and accolades for her being a mesmerizing kuchipudi dancer.

Indraja was having a dream to become a journalist. After graduation, she was planning to do a course in Mass Communication. However, the destiny has written something else for her. A chance meeting with a prominent film director in a musical event changed her career track and soon she signed three films. Since then, there is no looking back.
